Yes and no. Once you have been released from care, follow up care is up to you. Think of chiropractic like exercise. If you exercise daily for several weeks and get into shape, you feel good. When you stop exercising, you slowly begin to lose what you have gained. Like exercise, chiropractic is a great way to stay in shape (spinal shape!). The normal wear and tear of daily activity can cause misalignment even after your initial treatment. How well you maintain your spinal health is completely up to you.

It is never to early to start chiropractic treatment. It is safe to treat infants from birth into adulthood.

Most often, the chiropractor will treat you three times per week for the first two weeks. A second evaluation will be preformed at this time. Treatment from this point on varies depending on patient condition. Treatment frequency will depend upon patient age and severity. Children will be treated on an as need basis.
